Hey fam,
Last week I spoke about the Mel Rbobbins 5-second Rule
How long do you have to take action i.e. only 5 seconds. But what happens if you don’t take action?
Here is my mantra:
“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.”
This quote from Heraclitus illustrates that in life you can't go back.
What was relevant yesterday isn’t relevant today.
If there is a war now, then it is not tomorrow, so it’s important to talk about it now. Free Palestine!!!
What if you post about it 5 years later?
What has changed?
- The cameras have changed, so what you post later is something of old quality
- the time has passed, and things have become irrelevant.
- Most importantly, you have changed and aged(for good, more experienced), and your different mindset has a different experience on people and even on yourself.
- the excitement has changed. The excitement of doing it then vs now, and the external validation that you could have had, is dead 💀
Your excitement dies if you don’t take action and your personality likewise(yes you seem to be counted among the dead)
Posting like like breathing, it has to be done here and now. The more you stop yourself from posting the more you have a buildup of nitrogen gases in your bloodstream that can make you feel disoriented.
If you produce crappy stuff, it is still better than not producing at all.
“The Difference Between a Big Shot and a Little Shot is that a Big Shot is Just a Little Shot that Kept on Shooting.”
