Getting Started on YouTube π₯

All you need to get started on YouTube π₯is to get started, there is absolutely nothing that you need more than you already have. That one statement is all you need to get started.
Story time π
I remember when I first started off as a network engineer, I had to go through the training of being a help desk. There was a call that somebody didn't have internet π. So I had to step in π¦ΆπΌ, only to call my superior and I couldn't solve the problem. For the first time in my life at the age of 23, I stepped foot in a server room. "Wow, what a web is that is", I was so overwhelmed that I said about myself that I would never be able to learn all of this even in a million years and by mistake, I said that thought out loud. To this my peer said, you will learn all of this right here and right now. I thought to myself, there are more than a million wires here(not literally but let's say a thousand wires to be more accurate). To this, my friend said, βSuleiman, you need to focus on only one wire at a time. that's the only thing that you need to see and focus π§ on for now.β Suddenly, finding that one wire and swapping it to a different port solved the problem. Now all the similar issues with those so-called a million wires is the same i.e. one port swap.
Lesson π§±
Enough of the Story, let's get some lessons. starting on YouTube is just as simple as one wire/video at a time. Do not and I repeat do not be overwhelmed by the number of videos and the quality of them that you see on YouTube. do not compare your first video with someone's 90th. They started somewhere and the things that they are most proud of are their first videos which are the crappiest yet the most authentic of all. Give that crappy shot, with no retakes and a lot of unnecessary pauses. Mark βοΈ my words, in whatever color, this will be the video that you will be the most proud of in the coming years and decades if you stick long enough for that.
Remember the worst video that you'll ever produce, is far better than the video you'll never produce!
This is my video to get you started, look at my mistakes:
Β· improper lighting,
Β· the audio π§ is so bad and
Β· the way I blink my eyes the moment the video starts.
But let me tell you something, this is the thing that I tell myself. A crappy effort is better than no effort. I mean How long will you just be a spectator? π How long will you be in the back seat and let others do and stir life? How long will you be a consumer and not a producer of something? Take that phone in your handπ€³ and shoot π« yourself and post that damn video. Next post, I'm gonna talk about haters, I know that area needs a lot of attention. Here is me starting off my journey on YouTube. Be sure to Subscribe.
here you go, its just 32 seconds long
