Heather Parady says that consistency is not a month, a year, or a certain limit of time.
Why did she break my heart, i just got started with his blog.
How I look at consistency is that it isn't something that you are trying to hammer for a certain moment(s) of time, but rather it i.e. the discipline hammers you into becoming a completely different person.
Ask the people who are consistent to leave what they are doing and they would choose to depart from life☠ rather from the discipline that they are consistent with.
In Islamic History (yes I'm circumcised✂) there is a story of Ammar Bin Yasir who during a war in Yemen, in the midst of defeat called out "O the ones who have memorized the Quran come forward", and with this battalion distilled from the army He was able to turn the tides of the war.
Lesson: He knew that people who memorized the Quran had a certain level of persistence as when you memorize and make it part of your life to hold a book of 604 pages in your heart.
You don't change anything, things change you, and they shape you.
it's about not being able to part with what you love and do. Even if it is something that you don't do at work and yes mostly it is something that you do away from work. For me, it is this Blog.
it’s what you want to live your life with.
