4 Reasons Why I Think Everyone Should Read 'Show Your Work'

Austin Kleon wrote the best book ever written on Self Promotion aka BlowingđŁYour Own Hornđ.
here's why:
Reason 0: Have A personal Space to Play
How many of us arenât happy with what we do?
Please donât raise you hand, you know i can't see you. Wait, did that put a smile on your face. Then thatâs excatly the reason why you should write. Write about how when you read this it put a smile on your face or in your mind.
Only  when you start sharing online you will know how unique are you.
Your boss, your haters can't touch this aspect of you. itâs a different multi-verse by Doctor Strange.
Reason 1: Keep Track of What You Have Done
When you show your work publicly then you have to improve
You have to improve on what you are doing and you can always look back at your progress. This way you stop keeping track of things you want to do in your notes/journal to actually start doing them.
Try writing in public and you'll  fill your cup with more ideas from people.
The impulse to keep to yourself what you have learned is not only shameful, it is destructive. Anything you do not give freely and abundantly becomes lost to you. You open your safe and find ashes. -Annie Dillard
Reason 2:Have Your Own Creation
Focuses on you trying to create something with your very two hands đ, your own art, done by you. This gave me the boost to start a website with my own name www.suleimanmir.com, and you reading that should do that too, yes you. It's fine if you don't share your own stuff and do what I am doing right now, share others' stuff. People want to know what made you, You(notice the capital Y, that means special). They want to see and know how the hero rises. Why else do you think people watch movies like 'The Dark Knight Rises'(gosh I hate that movie)đ
Reason 3: Sharing Process Not Products
It scares me to launch a product. But what doesn't scares me is the process of launching a product and talking about it. Like: writing âïž this piece that I am reading and even being filmed đ„ talking about it.
From: I am writing THIS
To: I am writing about what I am reading đ right now(awesome, right, I know). Feels less daunting đ».
Reason 4: Becoming a SuperStar
Slowly but surely, you will build an audience for yourself, and not only that, your present LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram followers will turn into your audience and will love knowing more about you, and they will start buying/sellingđ° from/to you. Being discoverable has its own rewards.
